Copy photos directly from your smartphone to the tablet thanks to Wifi
Pairing smartphone and tablet is much easier than pairing smartphone and PC. For the latter, you usually need a cable. Alternatively, you could use Wifi Transfer, for which you need an additional app. However, if you want to transfer photos from your phone to your tablet, it’s a lot easier:
For both devices, you’ll find the option “Wifi Direct” in the settings under “WLAN”. If you select this option, the tablet and smartphone will connect automatically. The phone or tablet will search for compatible devices and then connect. If you now select “Wifi Direct” via the Share button, you can easily transfer photos. The range is about 500 m, indoors it is about 90 m.
Copy photos from phone to tablet via Bluetooth
A connection via Bluetooth is now possible between many devices – including between smartphones and tablets. In the settings, there is a subsection called “Bluetooth”, which must be switched on. Now go to the “Visibility” item and activate it. This device can now be found by other devices. If you want to copy your photos from phone to tablet (or vice versa), connect the two by tapping on the visible device. The range with Bluetooth is usually limited to approx. 10 – 100 metres. This depends on whether there are any interfering transmitters in the vicinity.
Using the remote control to transfer photos from your phone to the tablet
Another possibility is to control the tablet remotely via the smartphone. For this, you need the app “Tablet Remote”, which you can download for free. This app must be installed on both the phone and the tablet. After successful installation, the devices can be controlled remotely so that you can also copy photos in this way. Note: Both devices must be on the same network.
